Brahmin leader Uttar Pradesh - Pt Shekhar Dixit
Pt. Shekhar Dixit is a Brahmin leader Uttar Pradesh, young farmer leader, social worker and president of Rashtriya Kisan Manch. From the age of 17, Pt. Shekhar Dixit started raising awareness about environmental problems and bringing forest tribal issues into mainstream debate.
In 2002, he visited the eastern districts of Uttar Pradesh
and the villages of Seemanchal in Bihar with the then
Union Minister Alauddin Khan. The All India Brahmin Sabha
honored Dixit in 2004 for his concern over environmental
and social matters. He was also appointed as the President
of the All India Brahmin Sabha Uttar Pradesh.
